It's offish: Jessy Mendiola is in her "ballerina momma" era! The 31-year-old actress took to Instagram to share that she is finally making her childhood dreams of taking up ballet come true.

"I've decided to chase an old dream of mine," she wrote on Insta, sharing a snap of her in a black body-hugging tee, a leotard, and nude ballet slippers.
According to Jessy, she's always wanted to take up ballet when she was younger, but her family couldn't afford to send her to classes. She shared a story of her younger self watching other kids doing a class in a mall in Makati and vowing that she, too, will do it in the future—no matter how old she is.
"When I was younger, we couldn't afford ballet classes. I remember watching other kids in their ballet outfits during a class at a dance studio in a mall in Makati. I kept telling myself 'one day, magagawa rin kita,'" she wrote.
Fast forward to 31-year-old Jessy, who is now enrolled in adult ballet classes! "Now, I keep telling myself that it's never too late (or I'm never too old) to start something I've always wanted to do since I was a kid," she continued.
She stressed the importance of not letting societal pressures get to you—what's important is that you are still willing to learn no matter what.
"Here's to trying new things no matter how old (or late) you are, the most important thing is that you are happy and you are still willing to learn after all these years," she concluded. We totally agree!
She finished off her post by expressing her excitement about dancing with her daughter in the future. "As a ballerina momma tayo ngayon, I can't wait to dance with my little Rosie," she added.
