ICYMI: Jolina Magdangal recently guested on Camille Prats’ YouTube channel where they reminisced about their earlier days in showbiz while cooking Bacon and Shrimp Pasta. So adorable!
While going down memory lane, Jolina recalled her former love team with Marvin Agustin’s memorable years during the 90s and early 2000s, thanking fans for still referencing their iconic movie Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang? even decades after.
“Nagpapasalamat ako dahil hanggang ngayon mahal na mahal parin ng mga tao sina Bujoy at Ned,” she says. According to the actress, one of the reasons why viewers seem to still connect to their love team is because they kept it real.
“Yung naging style kasi namin ni Marvin, more on nagpakatotoo lang kami. Nung ginawa namin yung Hey Babe! na movie, buong time magkaaway kami,” Jolina reveals. “Pero ang maipagmamalaki ko sa love team namin, pag magkaharap na kami at mayroon na kaming eksena, parang sinasaniban ka ng [kilig]. Pag take na, natatawa ako sa kanya, kinikilig ako sa mga tingin niya.”
The 43-year-old pop culture icon also admits that she once *fell* for her on-screen partner. When Camille said, “Syempre kapag love team kayo, one of you is bound to fall in love with the other,” Jolina honestly answered “Nako, feeling ko ako lang!”
“Sabi niya siya rin daw pero hindi ako naniniwala. Hindi magka-level, ang taas ng level nung akin. Alam ni Marvin yun!” The singer-actress continued. “Kaya minsan kapag naglolokohan kami na nagpapa-kilig siya, talagang patol na patol ako. Gusto kong sabihin: Wag mo akong inaartehan ng ganyan, dati ko pa hinahanap yung lambing na yan eh!”
Aww! We definitely hope #MarJo would have their comeback movie soon. We'll all be rushing to the cinemas to witness their undeniable chemistry once more, that's for sure!
