In a recent Magandang Buhay episode, the actress makes another bold statement about her three-year relationship. Julia was asked about her *honest* thoughts about the persistent breakup rumors between her and Gerald.
Not even surprised anymore about people gossiping about their relationship status, Julia declared, "Hindi ko talaga alam kung saan nanggagaling but I'll just take that as a compliment."
Instead of denying the rumors over and over again, she and Gerald chose to keep their relationship private and low-key since then. "I guess we're able to create that private bubble of ours na hindi na nila masyadong alam nangyayari sa partnership namin. I think it's a conscious effort on our end... Siguro that's why they think (we broke up)," Julia asserted.

Julia and Gerald began their official dating era in 2021. It was Gerald who first confirmed his very happy status with Julia and told Boy Abunda in an interview, "Very happy, Tito Boy. It's a yes."
The two would then appear on special occasions together and even appear on vlogs. In one of Gerald's videos in 2021, they had already talked about their dream family. Julia openly communicated to Gerald that she envisioned a simple and quiet family in five years.

At an event, Julia couldn't help but quip at the reporters enthusiastically asking her about her alleged wedding with Gerald. "I mean, it's something to look forward to, pero ba't niyo ba kami minamadali?" she said in an ambush interview at the Preview Ball 2023.
Julia humbly dismissed the secret wedding rumor and said, "I feel like when that moment comes...I feel like it's something to be shared when the two people are ready to share such a thing." She also affirmed that they are both happy and thriving in life at present. "We're just really happy [with] where we are in life."
