Julia Barretto just posted a loving tribute to her late grandfather, Miguel Barretto, on Instagram. The ABS-CBN star, who is a known lolo's girl, shared snippets of their super close relationship: from screenshots of their sweet text messages to their many photos over the years. Julia also revealed her term of endearment for him, "9/29."
In the caption, Julia wrote, "I thought I've experienced real pain until yesterday. Nothing compares to this. My heart hurts so much 9/29. It hurts so much. It will never ever be the same without you but I find peace in knowing that you are now free from all the pain and suffering. Rest well now, 9/29. See you again."
The Barretto family patriarch passed away yesterday, October 15. He is the father of seven children, including Julia's mom, Marjorie Barretto, and titas Gretchen and Claudine Barretto.
