It's time to put the spotlight on those who work behind the scenes! Shooting Stars is a tvN drama about the people in the entertainment industry who look after celebrities—think those who are in public relations (PR), broadcasting, and management. The series will show their efforts, sleepless nights, and creative ideas as they make sure that a celeb's career continues to flourish.
Who are the cast members of Shooting Stars?
Lee Sung Kyung (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Dr. Romantic 2)will lead the drama as Oh Han Byul, the head of a PR team at an entertainment agency. She can persuade anyone with her charm and is an ace at work.
Kim Young Dae, who starred in Extraordinary You and The Penthouse, will portray A-lister Gong Tae Sung. He has a lot of fans due to his flawless appeal and is envied by many because of his celebrity status. However, Tae Sung has a ~different~ personality when he's not in front of the camera.
Joining Sung Kyung and Young Dae is Yoon Jong Hoon (you've also seen him in The Penthouse), the head of the management team and Oh Han Byul's co-worker. The other cast members of Shooting Stars include Kim Yoon Hye (Vincenzo), CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin (Cinderella With Four Knights), and Girl's Day's Sojin (The King: Eternal Monarch). In addition, actress Choi Ji Woo (Stairway To Heaven) is confirmed to make a special cameo as a top actress.
Who's behind Shooting Stars?
The drama will be penned by Choi Young Woo and directed by Lee Soo Hyun, who also helmed Find Me In Your Memory and The Witch's Diner.
