Kaila Estrada got scammed. She briefly shared her experience on X (formerly Twitter).
In a tweet, the actress said, "I just got scammed..." Netizens were quick to ask about what happened, wanting to know more from Kaila.
However, Kaila may not be ready to share the details at the moment. But in a succeeding tweet, the actress made sure to spread awareness about her experience.
"People out there can be very convincing these days so don’t answer calls from unknown numbers. Stay safe guys!" she said. Kaila's post implied that she was scammed because of unknown callers.
Some netizens flocked to her Twitter account and shared personal testimonies relating to scam experiences, especially with unknown callers. One netizen commented, "one of the reason i [sic] never answer any unknown number already cause I [sic] got phished almost a year ago and lost around 80k.. literally all my savings *crying emoji*"
Another said, "I got scammed few days ago kasi sobrang convincing talaga. Trust issue [sic] ko malala na talaga."
Kaila took her time to also respond to these testimonies saying "I'm so sorry that happened to you too."
Kaila is currently starring in Can't Buy Me Love together with Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. She recently made waves online for her stellar performance in the hit series Linlang together with Kim Chiu.
