It's definitely Kaila Estrada's year, and we're here for it. Case in point: The 27-year-old actress just recently had her ABS-CBN Star Magic contract signing, which cements her status as one of the stars that you *have* to watch out for.

In her interview with entertainment reporter MJ Felipe after the contract signing, one of the things that Kaila was asked was if she was *open* to working in a love team for her future projects.
ICYDK, being part of a love team in the showbiz industry—while not necessary—can definitely boost one's career. However, while there's no denying that it can lead to success, celebs who are part of love teams might feel "restricted" by them, making it difficult to branch out into other roles.
Kaila Estrada Says She's Happy She's Not Part Of A Love Team
"You know, I don't know if that's in the cards for me yet. You never know, eh 'di ba?" was her response when asked about the possibility of being in a love team.
While there's no denying that being in a love team can pave the path to success—just check out these celebrity LTs that we love!—Kaila is adamant about her happiness with working alone at the moment, noting that she's able to explore more genres when she's not in a love team.
"But all I could say is so far, I'm happy with the trajectory of how my career is going. I'm really able to explore different characters, different genres so far ng mag-isa ako. I feel like that's something I'm really enjoying about my career at the moment," she noted.
Despite Kaila expressing her happiness with currently working alone, she's definitely not closing her doors if being in a love team is really in the cards for her.
"If that is the plan, then I would welcome it. But so far, happy ako na wala pa or wala [at all]," she conceded.
Kaila is definitely doing good on her own for now, but when and if the time comes that she's put in a love team, we know that we'll also see more of her range. We can't wait to see her star in more projects!
