KARA is returning with a new album!
On September 19, RBW, DSP Media's parent company, announced that the beloved second-generation K-pop girl group is *reuniting* to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary.
"For the first time in seven years, all members will gather to release their 15th anniversary album this November," RBW shared on Instagram.
The label added, "Since they are showcasing their 15th debut anniversary album after gathering together for the first time in a while, we plan on supporting the KARA members so that they can express their feelings of wanting to gift their fans to the fullest."
KARA's leader, Park Gyuri, reacted to the announcement by sharing a group photo in an Instagram story, and saying, "Thank you for patiently waiting. See you in November."
Aside from the album release, KARA members are also slated to appear ~together~ in various television shows.
KARA debuted as a four-member group in 2007 with the studio album The First Blooming. A year later, member Kim Sunghee left the group and two new members were added: Kang Jiyoung and the late Goo Hara. They rose to fame in 2009 due their hit song "Mister." KARA officially disbanded in 2016 after the expiration of the members' contracts with DSP Media.
