Kathryn Bernardo is indeed a *very* good girl!
The award-winning actress recently went viral for her wholesome interaction with one of her fans. Kathryn's interaction with the fan was recorded during ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc. (Star Cinema)'s September 24, 2023 Facebook Live.
It was livestreamed during a mall show for their upcoming movie, A Very Good Girl. Kathryn was about to personally distribute their film's posters to the crowd when she noticed the commotion. Somewhere behind the stage, a marshall was blocking a fan from getting close to Kathryn. She left the center stage to attend to the fan right away.
With all the noise and people surrounding them, Kathryn and the other members of the staff made an effort to let the marshall know that it was okay to let the fan go.
When the marshall gave way to the fan, Kathryn first asked the fan if he was okay. They had a brief conversation before Kathryn nodded, signaling her permission to the fan's request.
Before the shared video ended, the fan successfully got a photo with Kathryn. He even kissed Kathryn's hand in an unexpected manner, even the marshall was shocked about it.
Nonetheless, Kathryn was still the most appreciative and patient person toward the fan until they parted ways.
The incident sparked a debate among netizens on whether the marshall was too harsh on the guy. Fans over Twitter also discussed the fan's behavior, saying that he might be a person with a disability.
Recently, Kathryn won the "Outstanding Asian Star" award at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2023. She gave the most *heartwarming* acceptance speech, giving so much importance and praise to the healthcare industry.
"It’s always been more than just about sharing a love story with our audience, but also about spreading awareness on Alzheimer’s Disease and educating people about those who struggle with it and how we can offer them the best support they need," the phenomenal actress stated during her speech.
Kathryn's new film with Dolly De Leon is in cinemas on September 27.
