Katrina Halili is in mourning.
On January 30, she took to Instagram to share the devastating news that her non-showbiz boyfriend Jeremy Guiab died. She wrote, “Ang daya mo love sabi mo aalagaan mo kami ni Katie, bakit iniwan mo kami?”

Who Was Jeremy Guiab?
According to Pep, Jeremy was the former vice mayor of Wao, Lanao Del Sur. He passed away at his home in New Manila, Quezon City after a fatal heart attack.
The former politician was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center in the same city, where he was declared dead. He was 53.
Despite her loss, Katrina showcased her professionalism by still showing up at the taping day of her upcoming show Mommy Dearest, where she stars alongside Camille Prats, PEP reported.
Despite keeping her relationship mostly under wraps, Katrina credited Jeremy for helping her raise Katie, her daughter with Kris Lawrence. “Siya yung mas nagtuturo sa akin, kasi stubborn ako, di ba? Stubborn din yung anak ko. So medyo mahirap kaming dalawa. Minsan nawawalan ako ng pasensiya, siya yung mas kalmado. Tinutulungan niya ako talaga kay Katie," she said in an interview last October 2023.
Katrina's co-stars in GMA, as well as friends in the industry condoled with the actress during this difficult time.
