Like father, like daughter. That's what Kiana Valenciano has been proving to everyone since she started her music career. This time, she's got lots to show everyone, especially her dad, the one and only Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano.
In an Instagram video, Kiana shared an endearing moment with her dad, whom she was video calling. The video was actually a throwback vid, taken on October 26, 2022. Kiana was in the studio working on a song and she surprised her dad with an *exclusive* first listen. But the cutest (!!) thing about it is that she used Gary's classic hit song, "Sana Maulit Muli" as a sample for her upcoming track.
Seen on her phone, Gary smiles from ear to ear, beaming with happiness and pride as he listens to the first part of the song. And we also have to tell you that, even if we just heard a snippet of it, we just know that Kiana's song titled, "Sana," is already a bop! FR! We're so signed up for it!
Even fellow celebrities think the same as us. They couldn't contain their excitement for Kiana's new song. TV host Iya Villania excitedly commented, "Awwww yeeeeeeah giiiirl!!! This is mah kinda sound!!!! Love it so much already @kianavee!!!!"
Model and influencer, Maan Marquez noted, "Connecting generations [insert heart emoji] love the song already." Same, sis, same!
OPM artist John Roa also expressed his support for the fellow artist's upcoming song. "OHMYGOODNESS [insert three fire emojis!]" It's really that good, you guys, even Nikki Gil agrees!
Kiana Valenciano's singing career
ICYDK, Kiana officially started her career as a singer-songwriter in 2016. Her debut track is called, "Circles." But she's been showcasing her musical talent since 2014, covering songs through her YouTube channel.
In 2019, Kiana released her debut album, See Me. Since then, she has been releasing back-to-back songs and collaborations with artists from all over the world. Her latest one from this year is called, "Sweet Release."
Amid her flourishing career as an artist, Kiana was also recently engaged to her non-showbiz beau. Exactly a year ago, her dad announced her engagement with the most heartfelt message via Instagram.
“So much I want to tell you Kiana…but I think I will save that for a day when you and I can just sit and talk….just you and I before the big day arrives and the wedding bells toll. My heart tugs but not with sadness my dearest princess…but with the joy of the Lord for how He has orchestrated your life…and how He will continue to do so. I'm thankful for the young man the Lord allowed to find you," Gary said in an Instagram post last August 9, 2023.
