Kim Jong Kook gave a very special gift to his niece on Children's Day in Korea.
In a YouTube video uploaded on May 5, the Running Man member met up with his 13-year-old niece Lee Won to celebrate the special day.
Jong Kook teasingly asked his niece how much she knows about him, saying, "I practically raised you when you were young, Lee Won. Let's check how much you know about me."
Lee Won and her dad (Jong Kook's brother) jokingly mentioned that kids nowadays are more interested in K-pop idols like BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER or TXT.
Lee Won revealed that she is a MOA (TXT's fandom name) and that she even attended a fan live event.
When asked about her TXT *bias*, she said, "My favorite member is Soobin. He's handsome and tall. He has a small face and low voice."
Jong Kook later requested his niece to look at the camera and send a video message to Soobin. The cameraman turned out to be the TXT member, much to the surprise of Lee Won.
The 13-year-old got the chance to ask Soobin questions and even hugged the idol!
Jong Kook ended the video with a message to MOAs: "After finding out that Lee Won had a favorite boy group, I wanted to do something to make her happy. For the fans, I think it was a good opportunity to promote TXT, too."
