Following her DUI (driving while under the influence) case, Kim Sae Ron's agency has confirmed that the actress is now having financial problems.
Yesterday, a YouTuber shared a video about the rumors surrounding Sae Ron. It was said that she is now working as a part-timer in a café after compensating those who were affected by her drunk driving accident, and the settlement required a huge amount of money.
On November 4, GOLDMEDALIST shared their side regarding the rumors. "Kim Sae Ron did spend some time working part-time at a cafe due to her financial difficulties."
In case you've missed it, the 22-year-old drove under the influence of alcohol in May this year. Her car broke an electrical transformer in an area in Seoul, and the accident "caused a power outage in the surrounding neighborhood, causing a temporary shutdown of local businesses for over five hours," according to SBS. Sae Roon soon released an apology letter on her Instagram account and shared that she will pay for all the damages. In relation to the incident, she suspended all her activities which includes filming for the upcoming Netflix drama, Hunting Dogs.
