Another day, another present for our Kim Sejeong!
A quick look on her Instagram account and you'll see a lot of posts where she shared the gifts she recently received. One of them is a coffee truck from her Business Proposal co-star Seol In Ah that was sent to her new drama's filming set last month. It includes a message in the banner that reads, "In Ah, who can't live without Sejeong, is treating everyone today! Everyone, gain energy from Sejeong and find strength." Aww, they're really best friends on and off-screen!
On July 10, another Business Proposal cast member gifted Sejeong with a coffee truck and it's none other than Lee Deok Hwa! In the rom-com drama, he plays Chairman Kang Da Goo, the grandfather of Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop). He initially opposed Tae Moo's relationship with Ha Ri (Sejeong) but he soon accepted her.
Wonder what's written on the banner from the veteran actor? "Do you want to go on a blind date with my grandchild, Ms. On Ma Eum? It's because I like you (a wordplay on Ma Eum). Sejeong-ah, I'll always be rooting for you. Hwaiting!" What a thoughtful way to show his support (and our Business Proposal hearts are *so* kilig with the ~blind date~ part)!
Sejeong showed her appreciation for Deok Hwa's gift and shared photos of the coffee truck on her IG account. "Ma Eum is lucky to be able to receive love from Ha Ri's grandfather-in-law. I respect you, sunbaenim. It was a really, really happy day. I miss you," she wrote.
ICYDK, Sejeong is starring in the new K-drama Today's Webtoon that's adapted from the 2016 Japanese series Sleepeeer Hit!. She will play former judo athlete On Ma Eum who joined Neon Webtoon's editorial department. The series will show the struggles of webtoon editors and is set to premiere on Viu on July 29.
