Do you ever wonder if your favorite Korean celebrities know about the memes that are ~dedicated~ to them? Well, the answer is yes and Kim Soo Hyun is a *perfect* example!
If you've been scrolling your social media feed endlessly, you have probably noticed that Netflix's Squid Game has taken over the internet. The drama, which tells the story of 456 players who joined a game to win 45.6 billion won (around P2 billion), is at the top spot of Netflix Philippines' Top 10 for more than two weeks. Additionally, the thriller is also on track to become the streaming platform's most popular show in history. WOW.
*Everyone* has been raving about Squid Game in the past few days, including Korean actors and K-pop idols. Some of them wrote a *mini* review and recommended the drama (like Move To Heaven star Lee Je Hoon) while others posted the PR gift they received from Netflix (like BLACKPINK's Jennie). But what made our week is Kim Soo Hyun's reaction about his ~potential~ cameo in Squid Game!
In an Instagram story by FTISLAND's Hongki, the Korean-singer-turned-actor shared a hilarious photo from his close friend, Soo Hyun. It was captioned with: "He sent me this photo saying he could have appeared [on Squid Game], too. Haha hyung...then you would have been the first one to die hahaha." LOL!

The picture featured a brutal scene in Squid Game and Soo Hyun's iconic cameo in Crash Landing On You, where he appeared as his Secretly Greatly character, Won Ryu Hwan. He's a North Korean spy who was sent to South Korea and had to act like a fool.

For this role, he wore a green tracksuit which totally fits in with the players in Squid Game! Do you think Soo Hyun as Won Ryu Hwan can make it to the top three players in the thriller drama?

BRB, ~*manifesting*~ a Squid Game season two with a Soo Hyun cameo! In other news, the actor is set to lead the upcoming crime thriller One Ordinary Day, which will air on November 27 exclusively on Viu.
