Evan Nelle is not only winning in his stint as a basketball player but also in his love life, you guys. The De La Salle University's (DLSU) point guard was on cloud nine thanking his *special someone,* Kitty Duterte, for being so supportive of him.
Evan calls their victory in the 86th Season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Men's Basketball last December 6, 2023, a sweet revenge for the DLSU Green Archers and he couldn't be any happier about it. Especially when his rumored girlfriend showed her full support.
"She's been with me through my journey. She's held me down naman. I thank her a lot, she keeps me sane and happy," Evan happily told reporters after their championship game against the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons.

ICYDK, Kitty is the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte. Speculations about Kitty and Evan's romantic relationship surfaced this year but the two have yet to confirm nor deny the rumors. But this does not hinder them from publicly showing their love for each other.
"Seeing all his hard work and dedication, I'm really proud," Kitty told reporters during the finals match.
After the game, Evan bravely embraced Kitty in front of the whole UAAP and crowd. It was indeed a special moment between the two. But is he ready to confirm the *real score* with Kitty? When asked about it, Evan just responded with a shy laugh and said, "See it, bro."

The 23-year-old athlete was still on a high as he ended his stint this season with a groundbreaking success. For Evan, their win is all about hard work. "What an exit di ba? I think it's just believing and putting on the work," he told the media post-match.
Evan furthered by saying how amazed he was by the support his team received from the La Sallian community. "I always heard about the UAAP crowd pero this one was wild. Experiencing it in person is just surreal," Evan shared.
The De La Salle Green Archers won the 86th UAAP Season by ending the match with only 4 points ahead of the UP Fighting Maroons, 73-69. It was DLSU's first title in seven years.
