The rise of the Korean wave didn't just result to the global popularity of its biggest stars, but it also rewarded them for their hard work, financially. Of course, what celebs do with their amassed wealth varies. Where some stow them away for future plans, personalities who've been in the business longer are able to invest their money in upscale homes that will last them for years to come.

Here are 8 Korean actors who own luxury homes:

1. Jun Ji Hyun

In an episode of the Korean show TMI News, it was revealed that Jirisan star Jun Ji Hyun now owns at least three commercial properties after she bought a three-story shopping mall worth an estimated $38 million. Her evident buying power has also afforded her a place in Samseong-dong, one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Seoul. Ji Hyun's apartment there is reportedly worth around $4.3 million.
