It's been one year since Krista Kleiner and singer Jay-R broke up, but she never revealed the reason behind the split. On February 25, the former beauty queen was a guest at Good Times With Mo Twister the Podcast, where she admitted she couldn't take being with someone who was "abusive."
The show's host, Mo Twister, asked her: "Oh, physical huh?" To which she replied, "Yeah...between that and verbal," adding, "If you are raised thinking it was normal, bad habits, I don’t know… I didn’t stick that long [to see it get worse]."
PEP.ph asked Jay-R his side of the story, and the crooner simply replied, "I really don't mind the negative comments about me because it comes with the territory of showbiz. I pay no mind."
