Delighted and grateful, Kristine Hermosa announced her pregnancy on February 19, a month after she and husband Oyo Sotto celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.
"Funny as it may seem, but I still get those butterflies every time I see double lines on the PT (pregnancy test), kahit pa na ang dami na nila, parang laging 1st time... Iba't ibang level ng overwhelming emotions each stage of every pregnancy," Kristine stated in her IG post.
The 40-year-old actress also expressed her thoughts about the unexpected blessing.
"To be honest, I was hopeful but never really expected He would bless us with children.. like.. lots of them and another one on the way," she wrote in her caption.
Kristine and Oyo are now parents to five beautiful children namely, Kiel, Ondrea, Kaleb, Vin, and Isaac. Even after several pregnancies, Kristine admits that she still feels ~kilig~ whenever she confirms her pregnancy.
As she entered her forties, she actually felt content and thought that she would not bear another child as well. Given her age and how big their family was already, she was quite fulfilled with everything in her life. But as she said, "God's plans will always come to completion whether we like it or not."
She added, "Akala ko noon, last na si Isaac… ngayon, hindi ko na talaga alam kay God..."
Their family and friends were of course elated over the news.
Kristine's sister, Kathleen Hermosa, also manifested her own pregnancy as she celebrated her sister's pregnancy. "AKO NA NEXT!!!" she exclaimed.
Kaye Abad also commented on Kristine's announcement saying, "Isa pa??? Hahaha! Congratulations!" as if she also could not believe that they're having another baby.
