Former child star Krystal Reyes happily announced the news on her Instagram account on March 25, 2024. The lucky guy? He's someone outside showbiz! Her post included a photo carousel of the exact moment when her fiancé knelt to the ground and popped the question. They got engaged in front of the majestic view that Basco, Batanes provides.
"I’d like to hang out with you for my whole life," Krystal captioned, borrowing the lyrics of Taylor Swift's song, "Stay, Stay, Stay."

Krystal became a part of the star-studded cast which was also an avenue for the Kapuso network to introduce their rising stars back then. 3. Munting Heredera (2011)
In this teleserye, Krystal played the role of Gemma, who was one of the scholars of Doña Anastacia, played by veteran actress Gloria Romero. Back then, Krystal was a 14-year-old actress and her character was involved in a love triangle between Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching.

Another breakthrough moment for Krystal was the show Anna KareNina in 2013 where she acted alongside Barbie Forteza and Joyce Ching.

In 2015, Krystal bagged her first kontrabida role for the romance teleserye Healing Hearts. In an interview with PEP.ph, she divulged that she worked hard to become a kontrabida. It was the first time that she had deviated from her usual sweet characters.
"Gusto ko pong maiba ang mga roles na ginagawa ko kaya pinagpursigehan ko po ang makapag-develop ako ng maldita na character. Nag-workshop po ako para maiba ko naman po ang boses ko. Tapos pati sa facial expressions ko, inaalis ko yung mukhang inaapi. Natuto nga po akong magtaas ng kilay at yung may kontrabida look," she enthusiastically shared.
