Kylie Padilla is speaking facts in her recent post and everyone is here for it. Her post comes amid the start of another election season in the Philippines.
On Monday, October 7, the Cosmopolitan Philippines cover star expressed her thoughts on the key qualities that a "great leader" should have. "A good indicator of a great leader is a man who can lead his family," Kylie began in her post.
The key word: family. For Kylie, family is a man's first community—thus, how he handles his family should be a basis for how we look at a so-called leader. She continued, "A man raises his kids with good values, integrity, and humility."
Aside from that, the actress touched on the point that loyalty plays a vital role in it. "A man loyal to his wife and remains true despite obstacles. A man who has a heart close to God." Before ending her post, she leaves a reminder of what service should really mean. "Service is about what you can do for others, not what they can do for you," Kylie declared.

Most commenters who saw her post immediately agreed with her sentiments. "Absolutely! How can you lead the community, when you're not even a good leader to your family in the first place," one user said on Kylie's Facebook post. But others are wondering if Kylie was actually ~taking a swipe~ at someone. One Internet user remarked, "Parinig with class."
All these words came from Kylie, who is the daughter of Senator Robin Padilla, who was elected during the 2022 national elections. But aside from that, her post came on the same day that her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica filed his candidacy for the upcoming 2025 elections. In case you haven't heard, Aljur is running for office, as a councilor in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica's relationship
As we all know, Kylie and Aljur have been separated since 2021. Currently, Kylie is with her rumored boyfie (Jinno John Simon) and Aljur is with his now-very-public beau, AJ Raval.
Despite their separation, the two appear to have a co-parenting set-up for their sons, Axl and Alas. From time to time, Aljur would post videos of his father-son bonding with the kids. Just recently, he posted about teaching boxing or martial arts to his sons.
