Kylie Verzosa just added another feather to her cap: winning an international award!
The actress was recently named Best Actress at Dubai's Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards 2022 (DIAFA 2022) for her role in The Housemaid.
Viva Artists Agency, which manages Kylie, took to social media to make the happy announcement.
"LOOK: @kylieverzosa will be the recipient of the Actress of the Year - Philippines at the DIAFA Awards 2022 in Dubai," read their IG post.
"DIAFA is an annual unique and prestigious red carpet & awards ceremony which honors distinguished personalities from both the Arab and International world, in recognition of their annual achievements and contributions towards committees and society’s betterment."
ICYDK, The Housemaid is a remake of the 2010 South Korean erotic thriller, also entitled The Housemaid, which starred Jeon Do Yeon, Lee Jung Jae (Squid Game), Seo Woo (Business Proposal), and Youn Yuh Jung (Minari).
In the Philippine adaptation, Kylie plays a new maid tasked to look after the daughter of a rich family. She catches the eye of the father and they get entangled in a sexual relationship
