Kylie Verzosa was recently spotted living her ~*best life*~ at Revolve Festival, an annual invite-only affair that takes place during the first weekend of Coachella. The actress-slash-beauty queen shared glimpses of her experiences at the party with her followers and posted pictures of her gorgeous desert OOTDs. However, netizens seemed to only notice one thing—her slim appearance.
Kylie Verzosa Claps Back At Netizens Judging Her Slim Appearance
One particular Instagram Reel she posted got a lot of attention from netizens, who noted that her appearance didn't look "healthy" anymore. In the video, Kylie can be seen getting dressed up for the festival in a bejeweled bra top, acid-wash jeans, and boots.

Though most of the comments section was filled with negative comments, some people also came to Kylie's defense, stating that they shouldn't be quick to judge and to leave Kylie alone.

"Idk why you guys just flock here & leave mean comments, leave Kylie alone!!" one netizen wrote.
Kylie wrote back and addressed the netizens in her comments section: "Thank you, I'm perfectly healthy and happy. I eat healthy and I take very good care of my health."
She stressed how sad she was to see fellow Pinoys "judging" their own and stated that although she's proud to be from the Philippines, it's "hard to appreciate home" due to comments like the ones she receives.
"It's sad to see so many Filipinos judging their own. I’m super proud to come from here, but you guys make it hard to appreciate home. We're far behind, and yet here we are still commenting on other people’s bodies," she wrote.
She added: "It's never okay. I hope you guys are okay and just focus on yourselves and your own personal growth and well-being. Being kind to one another will always be in."

Kylie Versoza's History of Schooling Body-Shaming Netizens
This isn't the first time Kylie has had to *defend* herself from netizens who leave unkind comments about her body on her Instagram posts.
On one photo she posted in 2023, where she can be seen enjoying her coffee in a sultry black off-shoulder top, netizens commented that she looked like a "stick." Kylie noted that she actually wasn't that skinny IRL and calmly asserted that it was probably just the particular outfit and angle in which the picture was taken.

On her recent beach trip to Amanpulo earlier this 2024, Kylie shared pics of her sizzling beach bod, though netizens still pointed out her skinny appearance. In classic beauty queen fashion, Kylie had the most ~*gracious*~ response for the internet.
She posted an Instagram Reel of her living her best life on the beach with the caption: "This 2024, I told myself that I would take even better care of myself and my body. I’ve come to accept that people will always criticize you about your body, [and] say you’re too much of this, too little of that, no matter how much you take care of yourself."
She also shared that she is "obsessed" with her health and leads a very healthy lifestyle. "I've cut out beef, chicken, pork, rice, alcohol, dairy, carbs, and sugar. I do cardio, pilates, run, box, weight lift, take my vitamins, sauna, and icebath on a daily basis but people will always have something to say," she added.
ICYDK, Kylie is a fitness buff who regularly works out with her trainer, celebrity fitness coach Arnold Aninion. In case you're curious about her ~intense~ workout regimen, you can check it out here!
Kylie also assured her followers of her healthy mental health, stating that she keeps herself educated, thanks to Mental Health Matters PH, a non-government organization that Kylie herself established back in 2017.
Kylie Verzosa Shares Her Personal Relationship With Her Body
In a recent interview with Luis Manzano, Kylie said that she is working hard to care for her body despite all the body-shaming comments she has been receiving lately.
"I still get a lot of body-shaming comments. I just find it a bit weird because I really take good care of myself. I take care of my health, I eat healthy, I try to avoid drinking, I don't smoke, I don't party. I work out at least four or five times, I run, I box, gym, I go to the sauna, I do ice baths recently. I am very very healthy."
"I really take care of myself. It's not only for looks, but I want to feel good about my body. I feel strong. Because of what I am doing, this is the body I have. So I am proud of my body and I am proud of what it's become."
Kylie admitted that at one point, she started overanalyzing her appearance and even questioned if she was "too thin."
"I am not gonna lie, at one point it kind of made me analyze myself. Am I too thin?"
However, after struggling with her weight from 2017 to 2018, Kylie was able to turn things around—she became fit and developed a more positive relationship with her body.
"Looking back at it, I really take care of myself. I don't think I am too thin. I think I'm fit for what I am. I did struggle with weight [from] 2017 to 2018."
"I am proud of my body, I am proud of where I am today. I am just proud of my body and where I am right now."
