News flash: Kyline Alcantara just spilled the beans about her seemingly romantic relationship with Kobe Paras.
Kyline, who's currently in a flurry of back-to-back projects and endorsements, took the time to talk about her dating life with the press. In a video uploaded by Philstar News, Kyline was asked about the real score between her and Kobe.
All smiles and laughing it out, Kyline responded to the question and said, "I don't know actually." It may not be a direct answer, but the non-confirmation has us intrigued—because she continues by saying she is very single at the moment.
"I am single...Single life is great. Totoo 'yung sinasabi nila na masarap talagang maging single," the 21-year-old actress declared in the interview. This is also the first time that she publicly confirmed her single era and breakup with actor and host Mavy Legaspi.
Speculations about the end of their relationship began because of a couple of cryptic posts from Kyline, as well as Mavy's mother, Carmina Villaroel. That, plus the fact that they were no longer spotted together in shows and—more convincingly—they stopped posting photos of them together on Instagram.
With Kyline thriving in her single era, she still expressed her openness to love and be loved again at the same time. She's open to possibilities. Kyline proclaimed, "Pero 'di ba, masarap din naman talagang magmahal. I mean, I will never give up on love. I know that love is free, love is everywhere. We all give it and receive it also."
She even highlighted the fact that she's really enjoying the freedom that singlehood entails. "So, yeah, ang sarap because I feel so free. I can do whatever I want. Not naman na when I'm in a relationship, I'm caged. Yeah, ang sarap lang po talaga."

Kyline's photo was included in her usual "IG dump" last May 19, 2024. On the other hand, Kobe uploaded it on his Instagram Stories, almost on the same day when Kyline uploaded her IG dump.
That was when some followers of Kyline directly asked her, "Hala, are you with Kobe [Paras]?" Other netizens followed suit and began speculating about Kyline and Kobe's connection, discounting the possibility that the photos might be just a coincidence.
We could say that the user's comment was left on read. It got no response from Kyline or Kobe. But it was there, sparking intrigue about the rumored couple.
Speculations about their romance intensified when Kobe himself, posted Kyline's photo on his personal Instagram Story. He even included a heart emoji in the IG story. It was nothing grand, but it was definitely an intriguing public display of affection for Kobe's rumored girlfriend.
