"Can't wait to be a family of 3"
In true Laureen fashion, she shared her news with an Instagram announcement post and a YouTube vlog. On Instagram, the video starts with her and Miggy in white. She opens a Hungry Homies carton box where inside are the scans of the baby. The video transitions to show a montage of different scenes in the couple's life leading up to the big moment. In the vlog, Laureen and Miggy sit down to talk about how they found out and their initial feelings. As of writing, Laureen is in her second trimester. "We kept it to ourselves and our closest friends and family members lang muna until we were ready to share it with the world, with you guys," says Laureen.
She then narrates how she confirmed the news after her trip to Fukuoka, Japan, and the Hungry Homies team building. Laureen notes that she didn't think she was pregnant at first, highlighting that there was only one distinct difference in her routine, "Everything was normal except for the fact I was just always tired. I would always be super sleepy."
The video transitions to footage of Laureen back in August. She bursts into tears as the drugstore pregnancy test confirms her suspicions. "So when I found out, I wanted to tell Miggy right away...so I thought of the quickest surprise to give him which is to write on a shirt that says 'preggers,'" shares Laureen.
"I was stunned. I was shocked. To be honest, I think, this is what we've both been wanting since we got married. For me, personally, because I felt that I wanted to start a family with you, " Miggy says, stating his initial thoughts upon learning he will be a father. "'Yung buong relationship natin nag-flashback."

Laureen and Miggy also included clips of their visits to the doctor, where Miggy served as the videographer. "But, surprisingly, at six weeks may heartbeat na," a good detail Laureen noted.
Before the vlog ended, Laureen and Miggy thanked everyone for their support. They also share clips of how their family members like Vince Uy and Liz Uy plus friends Patricia Prieto, Kryz Uy, Camille Co, Lissa Kahayon, and Jaz Reyes reacted to the announcement.
Congratulations, Laureen and Miggy. We're excited to meet Baby #LauMi!
