Lauv performed in Araneta Coliseum on May 20, 2019, and the American synth-pop artist couldn't believe the venue was packed, especially the VIP and Patron seats! According to him, it was his first time to headline a huge venue and he was overwhelmed with the support. He told the crowd, "I have the most listeners right here. I cannot take this shit for granted!"
Pinoy fans were so lucky he debuted not one, but two new tracks! The first song, "Sad Forever," is an upbeat song about one's desire to move forward and be happy. Lauv shared that he just finished writing it on the plane the night before. "Since tonight is a special show, I want to share it with you first," he explained.
What made fans extra kilig was when he performed it right in the center of the VIP seating area ANDDDD shot its music video right there! "We're capturing it on video, and we're hoping that this would become the music video," he further said. That's history, folks!
The second song was "The Sims," inspired by the video simulation game. Lauv said it will be in his album How I'm Feeling. It's about hoping for a love that will never be, so he resorts to daydreaming and wishful thinking.
