It looks like Korean actor Lee Dong Hwi is in the Philippines according to his Filipino fans!
On March 21, the Reply 1988 star took to Instagram and shared a series of photos, including a pic of him with his backpack and luggage. He captioned it with "Going to work" and added an airplane emoji—which just means that he left South Korea.

Two days after, he uploaded another set of OOTD photos and this one's extra interesting: Dong Hwi's background looks very ~familiar~ and Filipino fans think that he went to Greenbelt in Makati! The pics made everyone *scream* and his post was filled with "OMG," "Greenbelt yarn?," and "Welcome to the Philippines!".

To connect the dots, Dong Hwi is a cast member of the upcoming Disney+ original drama Casino (also known as King Of Savvy) and reports say that it will be filmed in South Korea and overseas. The crime action series tells the story of a casino mogul who is brave enough to do anything to get back into the game, and reportedly has a budget of 20 billion won or around *gasps* P858 million. Aside from Dong Hwi, Casino is led by Choi Min Sik, Son Seok Gu, and Squid Game stars Heo Sung Tae and Kim Joo Ryung.
Dong Hwi has a long list of Korean movies under his belt (including The Handmaiden) and he became even more popular when he was cast in the nostalgic drama Reply 1988 as Ryu Dong Ryong.
He's known as a versatile actor as well as a fashionista, just like his girlfriend, Jung Ho Yeon. On his IG account, he often posts pics of his outfits and collabs with fashion brands.

Apart from Casino, Dong Hwi is also set to appear in the Netflix original drama Glitch with Jeon Yeo Been and After School's Nana.
