ICYMI: Lee Jung Jae and Jung Ho Yeon recently made history at the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards! The Squid Game stars received the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series award in the male and female categories, and are the first Asian actors to achieve this feat. After the event, Jung Jae and Ho Yeon answered questions from the press—and one inquiry didn't sit well with netizens.
In a video uploaded by Variety, a Hollywood reporter asked the two: "Now that you're SAG winners, what are you going to miss most about being anonymous?"

After the question was translated into Korean by the interpreter, Jung Jae smiled while Ho Yeon confidently said "Nothing!", which made the veteran actor laugh.

There was an *awkward* silence right after, and the Hollywood reporter then said: "You deserved it. Congratulations!"

The question about "being anonymous" was deemed disrespectful by netizens and they think that the reporter didn't do her research before asking. The two have actually been in the industry for a long time and are already successful prior to their roles in Squid Game.

Jung Jae started his career as a model before appearing in his first acting project in 1993. He starred in more Korean movies compared to K-dramas, and almost all of these are blockbuster hits—to the point that he recognized was by the Korean Film Council as an actor who guarantees box office success. Additionally, he also founded co-founded Artist Company (the agency that handles Park So Dam, Go Ara, and Cho Yi Hyun, to name a few) with his BFF Jung Woo Sung.

On the other hand, Ho Yeon is a household name in the modeling world and she has been walking the runway for many luxury brands since she was 16 years old. She also joined the fourth season of Korea’s Next Top Model and was hailed as a runner-up.

Despite receiving a cringe-worthy question, netizens were impressed by how Jung Jae and Ho Yeon handled it well. You can watch the interview and how the two reacted right here (the inquiry starts at the 1:40 mark):
