It's been a month but we're still not over the fact that we all got a Lee Jung Jae and Leonardo DiCaprio selfie! The veteran actor talked more about their pic and what the Hollywood star said to him during his guesting in The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In the first part of the TV program, Stephen asked Jung Jae if he expected Squid Game to be a sensation. He answered that there was a feeling that something good might happen but he did not expect it to be this successful. Jung Jae also added that he had no idea he'll be a guest in the talk show.

ICYDK, Squid Game broke numerous records and is now Netflix's no. 1 show of all time, generating 1.65 billion hours of viewing in 28 days according to Variety. It also received a long list of awards, including the first-ever Korean drama to be recognized as a breakthrough series at the Gotham Awards. Jung Jae plays Sung Gi Hoon in Squid Game, a cash-strapped man who was knee-deep in debt and had to participate in the deadly game.

Going back to the talk show, Stephen said that Jung Jae is a household name in South Korea but it was Squid Game that catapulted him to international fame. He then asked him: "How does it feel now where, wherever you go, celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio are wanting to take selfies with you?"

Jung Jae has a heartwarming response to this and said that he's still in *shock*: "I couldn't believe it, really. He told me that he did watch Squid Game, he enjoyed it very much, and he told me you're so lucky to be in it and you did an amazing job. So it was unbelievable."

When asked if their selfie was taken on Leonardo's phone, Jung Jae said that it's true but cleared that he doesn't have his number, LOL! He actually got the photo from their mutual friend.

The show ended with Jung Jae taking a selfie with Stephen, in which he ~realized~ that he's actually recording a video! BRB, filing this under his *iconic* dad pics.

Can't wait to see your selfies with other celebs (your Instagram posts in general, TBH), oppa! Maybe we'll get more once the second season of Squid Game airs on Netflix?
