Beauty queen and Los Banos, Laguna Councilor Leren Mae Bautista has firmly denied any romantic involvement with Ricci Rivero, and called on the public not to spread “misinformation” online.
In a statement posted on her social media accounts on Monday, Councilor Leren Mae Bautista emphasized that the rumors connecting her to the breakup of Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes breakup are “entirely false.”
“We would like to address the disinformation that has been circulating across social media platforms regarding Councilor Leren and her alleged romantic involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero. We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality,” the young politician said in a statement posted on her Facebook page.

She also said the now-viral photos of her interaction with Rivero during the actor’s birthday outreach were not proof of their supposed ties and that the event was part of her duties as a public servant.
Bautista also addressed a viral video of Rivero’s birthday party.
“The video that went viral, depicting Ricci’s belated celebration with his friends, whom numerous other individuals joined, was taken down due to concerns about potential misinterpretation by viewers,” she said.
“We encourage everyone to refrain from creating malicious and insinuating comments on social media. Likewise, we call on everyone to understand the importance of fact-checking information shared across various internet platforms,” she added.
