It's been four years since 1D went in many different D; with Zayn, Harry, Liam, Niall, and Louis all launching solo careers after six years together as one of the most successful boybands in the world. But this break up has been repeating on us for years and it doesn't look to be wrapping up anytime soon.
Having just released his debut album LP1, Liam Payne has been doing the rounds drumming up coverage for the record, and in an interview with magazine The Face he had some words to say about former bandmate, Harry Styles.
Speaking candidly, Liam said in the interview, "There's so much mystery around who he's become. I was looking at some pictures of him the other day, and I just thought, I don't know what more I'd say to him other than, 'Hello' and 'How are you?'"
Speaking about how different they had become, Liam told readers, "I mean, look at the stuff I put out and the stuff Harry puts out. Polar opposite. I'm like the antichrist version of what Harry is."
He was then asked about Harry's fashion sense, specifically, his penchant for wide-leg trousers—which, as far as I'm concerned are sacrosanct—and had some more quite shocking words; "I couldn't put myself in that. I'd look f**king… It'd look weird."
This isn't the first time words have been exchanged. The split has been a bizarre exchange of shade from day one, so this just another weird drop in a bitter ocean, breaking hearts worldwide.
One final thought though. "Antichrist"... do you mean antithesis, Liam?
