Magic Men Australia Makes Every Woman’s Fantasy Into a Reality
Meet Will Parfitt, Magic Men Australia’s Founding Father
Ahead of the steamy two-night delight this March 16 and 17, 2024, Cosmopolitan Philippines spent an afternoon over Zoom with Will Parfitt, the “Founding Father” of Magic Men.
Fun fact: Will is a dead ringer for Channing Tatum! He’s aware and capitalized on it with almost 8 million TikTok followers and 2.1 million Instagram followers.
That’s not why audiences stay though. Will’s excitement to connect with the crowd is real and driven by his passion for entertaining people. “I’m definitely including some local songs in the routine,” Will says of his Manila show. “It’s going to be completely new routines from all the guys and niche to The Philippines, something no other country has seen before.”
Will didn’t want to give too much away about the show itself, but he did give us a teaser. “For each show, I normally like to use a prop that is exclusive to that country. So I'll be including that as well. I'm not going to tell you what prop it is because it’s a surprise, and I’d love to see the reaction.”
Hint: The special thing involves... just a towel.
A Week In A Life Of Magic Men
He, along with the rest of the Magic Men, follows a physically demanding schedule. As they prepare for the tour, they still have their regular shows and bookings in Melbourne and other key destinations in Australia. They also have private bookings for bachelorette parties and other private events.
Will says, “How Magic Men works is we have individual acts, but then we also have group routines. When you do your individual show, you kind of learn that and then you bring it to the boys and ask for their input. We also have the group routines and that’s when we normally all get together for a dance rehearsal.”
He says, “Every Saturday night, we have our regular shows and our touring shows, so our rehearsals are midweek, and we keep on working it before the shows, We also try to put bits here and there from our regular shows, especially ones that work for our tours and create a whole routine.”
Despite all this, Will says he doesn’t get tired, “If you love what you do, then you don't feel like you're working. Every show is fun and I don’t mind it. But on Sundays is when I usually don’t speak to anybody.”
Will’s line of business also has its hazards as well. “A few weird requests I’ve gotten include wearing a clown costume, and I didn’t know how that was sexy. I’ve also been booked for a baby shower. There’s also a situation where the husband books me and it’s just him and his wife. And he wants to just watch me do a show.”
Good News: Will Is Single!
God is indeed a woman. The 6’0’ tall Will with his green eyes and magnetic smile is single!
We wasted no opportunity to ask what he likes. “My ideal date would be a dinner Or maybe something cute like a beach walk because I love the beach myself. I believe in getting to know someone on that level and being able to have a good conversation.”
He also notes how he loves women with a sense of humor, being a funny man himself. Will’s social media posts always show off how he doesn’t take life too seriously, with a lot of *cheeky* content. “I want someone I can vibe with, having a good laugh with is definitely very important to me because I'm a bit of a joker.” He also loves doing spontaneous activities. “Sometimes, when you have that spark with someone, you can go and do something that you wouldn’t normally do, that sparks the fire of a relationship.”
If ever you’ll get with Will, he cautions that it’s a dealbreaker if you can’t handle the Magic Men schedule. “Obviously, Magic Men is a massive part of my life. I need someone who can be relaxed about my lifestyle and understand how I have to travel constantly for work.”
We know what you’re dying to know next: Will’s star sign is Cancer. He says, “People say that I do have traits that are of a Cancer. People who don’t know me on a personal level get surprised when they meet me. They think I am confident but that’s not how I was growing up. They say that Cancers are sensitive and emotional. So I guess I can relate to that.”
Will Parfitt On Why It’s Always Better to *Dare* It All
If there’s anything one should take away from talking to Will, it’s developing a daring spirit, in all aspects of life. He says, “I think you need to put yourself outside your comfort zone. Before Magic Men, I had never imagined being able to perform. I think some people are surprised to hear that. I would never get up on stage in front of people on a show like that before, but every time you do it, you feel a sense of achievement. It’s like skydiving. You’re petrified the whole way up, but you realize that the fear is always worse than the actual jumping out of the plane. When you put yourself on the other side of fear, something good will come in your life.”
