Maine Mendoza turned a year older on March 3. To celebrate her 25th birthday, the Kapuso actress jetted off to El Nido, Palawan with her boyfriend, Arjo Atayde.
In an Instagram post on March 7, the actress shared a photo of Arjo as he watched the sunset. Maine wrote: “Grateful for many things.”
In a separate post on Twitter, Maine shared a short video of the breathtaking sunset she shared with Arjo. She described it as “a beautiful sight.”
The Eat Bulaga co-host also posted a throwback photo of herself as a child. She wrote: “Felt extra loved and special today.”
Meanwhile, Arjo posted a simple birthday message for Maine and addressed her with his pet name for the actress. He wrote, “Happy birthday, Babs.”
The couple recently celebrated their first year anniversary in December 2019. They first met in July 2018 during the story conference of Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles where Maine played the lead role and Arjo was a supporting character. Maine admitted to dating the actor in March 2019 when she wrote: “Sadly, I cannot stay as Yaya Dub forever. This is Maine, the real me. And this is real life. And I cannot go on with my life behind a fictional character.”
