ICYMI, Maiqui Pineda and Robi Domingo tied the knot on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Their intimate wedding ceremony was sadly a bittersweet moment for Robi, who lost his lola on the same day, but their family and celebrity friends were there to bare witness to the couple's special day.
We all know that sparks started to fly after they met again at the 2017 ABS-CBN Christmas Party, but who is Maiqui and what are her hobbies and interests? Here's everything you need to know about Maiqui!

1. Maiqui is an Ateneo de Manila University alumna.
Maiqui graduated in 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. ICYDK, she and Robi were actually batchmates!
2. Maiqui is an art enthusiast.
In 2017, she took up two Certifications at the renowned Sotheby's Institute of Art:
- Certification in Art Marketing, PR and Communications
- Certification in Contemporary Art and Its Markets, Art/Art Studies

If you check out her IG, you'll see posts about art sprinkled along her feed. "Nothing like visual art and classical music to feed the heart, mind and soul," Maiqui wrote. She was describing the limited run performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, which took place among the beautiful works of Vincent Van Gogh in Singapore. How cool!

3. Maiqui studied abroad in France.
In 2010, she signed up for a Masters in Management I Degree through Burgundy School of Business. The 4-month student exchange program in Dijon offered courses on business, geopolitics, marketing and communications and French culture and language.
4. Maiqui is a Taurus.
Maiqui was born on April 26, 1991. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of romance and creativity, so someone born under this sign has an appreciation for all things art, music, dance, etc.
As an Earth sign, your Taurus partner is usually grounded and somewhat of a traditionalist.
5. Maiqui was a high school athlete.
Maiqui's kindergarten through high school was spent at Saint Pedro Poveda college. She was part of the Poveda Basketball Varsity team!

6. Maiqui was a model for a bridal photoshoot in 2019.
In December 2022, Robi shared a throwback video of Maiqui's bridal photoshoot on Instagram.

Maiqui gave her followers a closer look at all four stunning gowns: "Because someone a.k.a. @iamrobidomingo decided to share the video from a shoot I did in 2019… here are the beautiful photos taken from that day too. At least this time, I’m really getting married now," she teasingly wrote.
7. Maiqui has worked in the fields of finance and marketing for several years.
Immediately after college, she worked as an Assistant Manager for Institutional Sales at the Maybank ATR Kim Eng Securities Inc. for over five years.
Maiqui served as a Wealth Solutions Manager at the ATRAM Group for nearly three years before working as a Digital Video Content Producer from 2018 until 2022 for—you guessed it!—Robi. She also developed eight financial education videos for the FQ Mom YouTube Channel during this time period.
Since July 2022, Maiqui has been overseeing the deposits and onboarding processes for the digital banking arm of SeaBank Philippines.
8. Maiqui is a big fan of outdoor activities.
They weren't a couple yet when Robi invited Maiqui to a diving trip in Anilao, Batangas. "Ayaw niya talaga mag-dive kasi takot siya sa dagat kasi yung sharks daw nandun," Robi shared with Darla. However it was during one of these special trips that Rob asked Maiqui to be his girlfriend—and that’s how they officially dove into a relationship on August 6, 2018!
Maiqui also enjoys hiking and wall climbing with friends.

9. Maiqui loves all things Disney.
"At our happiest in the happiest place on earth!," Maiqui captioned her December 2022 post with Robi at Tokyo Disneyland. "Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE all things Disney. So glad we were able to do this together."
Fun fact: Maiqui grew up as a classic Disney kid and became a Marvel fanatic as she got older!

"Less than 5 months from getting sick, I was able to go to HK Disneyland and it was the happiest I’ve ever been in awhile," Maiqui spoke of their December 2023 trip. "It reminded me even more to be the hero of my story and to not lose that magic. Anything is possible, just keep believing."

10. Maiqui was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in August 2023.
In a blog entry published on Thursday, August 3, Maiqui revealed that she has a rare autoimmune condition called Dermatomyositis. According to Maiqui's blog, it all started in April 2023 with dryness and skin rashes on her hands and fingers. She also started to experience pain in her joints, as well as difficulty performing simple tasks such as opening bottles and lifting objects.
"Honestly, because of her condition, I was the one who told her baka dapat i-delay natin ng konti, kasi medyo iniisip ko na 'yung health niya," Robi told ABS-CBN News in an interview. "Siya 'yung nagsabi na 'Don't. Give me something to hope for,’ And upon hearing that, siyempre, iyak ako. 'Lalaban tayo, lalaban.'"
