Remember when we published the Signs That Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Could Already Be Engaged?
We were totally wrong, because it JUST HAPPENED TONIGHT (August 9)!
During GMA-7's primetime musical show, Marian, Dingdong Dantes popped the question on bended knee after an emotional and kilig-worthy speech in front of a live audience that included the couple's families and loved ones.
The proposal came just in time for Marian's 30th birthday, which they celebrated on the show. Her actual birthday, however, is on August 12. Dingdong Dantes is 34 years old.

Marian's proposal outfit was perfection: She wore a Martin Bautista white (How apt!) backless number with beaded vintage French lace from Paris:

The Marian episode that aired on August 9 had the official hashtag #LastDance, which Dingdong explained after Marian said yes: it's his "last dance" with "Marian Gracia, the soon-to-be Marian Gracia Dantes!"
The hashtags #LastDance, #DongYan, and #OneDance trended on Twitter shortly after the proposal, as DongYan fans went cray for the happy couple.
