Maris Racal is trending RN after the Miss Universe 2023 competition for the most *unexpected* reason. ICYMI: The 26-year-old actress and singer posted a carousel on her Instagram on November 19 with the caption: "miss universe preparation dump [laughing emoji]."
In it, Maris posted photos of her ethereal ensemble by Filipino designer Marc Rancy during the ABS-CBN Ball which bears a ~*striking*~ resemblance to the evening gown worn by newly-crowned Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios.
Maris and Sheynnis' gowns both featured bright blue shawl sleeves, though the former wore a predominantly nude dress while the latter chose a pearly white color. Both looked gorgeous, though!

Of course, netizens couldn't help but notice the resemblance between the two gowns, resulting in funny Instagram comments under Maris' post.
