Maris Racal continues to prove that she's an exceptional actress of her generation. It's been a month since her latest series, Incognito, started airing and her scenes are already blowing our minds—in a good way.
Just recently, Maris wowed the audience with a lingerie scene she did for the show. If you're thinking that it's for something sexy and spicy, it's interestingly not. In the scene, Maris is trying to run from a bunch of rogues throughout a forest while wearing just her underwear.
In a report by ABS-CBN's MJ Felipe, Maris looked back on filming the lingerie scene that actually did numbers for the show. "I can say that I am very confident with my body. I just felt powerful. Wearing that didn't faze me. Very comfortable [ako] with my whole body. Tumakbo lang, no one was watching. It encourages you to be confident with your body," she said.
Admittedly, she knows how confident she is of her own body—and we think we've seen her confidence manifest in so many ways throughout her career. This confidence added to her dedication to her craft and contributed to her making the scene more effective for the production and for the viewers.
She shared that the crew gave her the option to wear something over hear underwear. But despite the cold weather in Baguio where they shot the viral scene, Maris was all out to give everybody a show to remember.
"Super lamig. Nanginginig lang ako the whole time. So, nabasa ko yung script—panty at bra, tatakbo. Sabi ko talaga, 'Hello, bukas na ba ito kukunan?', 'Yes po,' 'okay sige, game!' Tapos sabi nila kung hindi ka naman comfortable pwede ka naman mag-cycling (shorts). Sabi ko, 'Hindi! Itodo natin 'to! Game ako!" Maris recalled.

Maris Racal on Incognito's good reviews
Incognito was Maris' first action series. She's been doing well with some intense teleseryes tackling drama and ofc, rom-coms. And so, doing action for the first time might be totally out of her comfort zone but it drove her to strive harder as an actress, especially now that it has been well-received by the audience.
"Kinakabahan ako kung paano nila i-accept yung role ko as Gab Rivera, kasi first time kong mag-action. I'll be honest I was conscious about it. There's a little bit of insecurity because it's going to be my first time. They might think na hindi naman siya astig, hindi bagay. But nagulat ako sa reviews, sa mga comments na gusto nila yung character ko doon," Maris told ABS-CBN News.
Aside from ABS-CBN's streaming platforms, Incognito can also be watched on Netflix. It has been listed among the Top 10 Shows in the Philippines since it was released last January 2025. Maris stars alongside Ian Veneracion, Richard Gutierrez, Daniel Padilla, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, and Anthony Jennings in the action-packed series.
The series is also Maris' first acting project after her cheating controversy with her co-star, Anthony. Amid the backlash, Maris is still pursuing her passion as an actress. ICYMI, she recently attended the Berlin International Film Festival 2025 for her film, Sunshine. Donning a Jot Losa gown, the 27-year-old actress walked down the red carpet of the renowned film festival. Congrats, Maris!
