Matteo Guidicelli Denies Punching Bodyguard During His Wedding With Sarah Geronimo

For the past two days, Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo has been the talk of the town—from news of the couple getting married on February 20, to reports that Matteo punched the Geronimo family's bodyguard, Jerry Tamara.

After word spread that Matteo allegedly "punched him in the throat," the groom finally spoke out. According to an ABS-CBN report, Matteo said, "Wala akong sinuntok," during a phone interview with reporter Mario Dumaual.

Prior to his statement, reports circulated that the incident happened after Sarah's mother, Divine, "arrived unexpectedly" during the couple's civil wedding rites on Thursday in a Bonifacio Global City hotel.
