Model-turned-beauty queen Maureen Wroblewitz and OPM singer Juan Karlos Labajo have called it quits. The two confirmed the sad news on their respective Instagram accounts.
"Magka-ibigan na ngayo’y matalik na magkaibigan," Juan Karlos captioned a photo of him and Maureen. "Lagi mong tandaan na kahit pagbaliktarin mo man ang mundo, kahit saang lupalop man ng kalawakan, ikaw parin ang nagiisa kong buwan. Maraming salamat, mahal kita, at hanggang sa muli."
ICYDK, "Buwan" is the title of Juan Karlos' smash hit. Maureen starred in the song's music video.

Meanwhile, Maureen posted an image with a quote that read: "Life is not happening to you. Life is happening for you."
She captioned the post, "Some things come to an end and that’s okay. but now it’s time for us to grow on our own."

In the comments section, Juan Karlos had the sweetest things to say to his ex-partner: "I am the luckiest person in the world to have spent the past years of my life with you and I wouldn’t choose anybody else to have spend those years with. You’ve taught me so much and I have learned, I am learning, and I will learn more. We are both so young and we have to enjoy ourselves."
He then went on to say that he wants to see Maureen "succeed" in life: "I love seeing you achieve your dreams. You will. We will. Here’s to growth and love for ourselves. For there is no greater love than self-love."
The singer-songwriter ended his comment by saying I love you and goodbye in German (He and Maureen are both half-Filipino and half-German): "Dankëschon, Ich liebe dich and auf wiedersehen."
