Maxene Magalona was over the moon this weekend when she received gifts from FRIENDS co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox!
In an Instagram post, Maxene shared her delight as she unboxed two packages from Jennifer and Courtney. She wrote, "How do you know when you're aligned? When the Universe sends you magical gifts from your @friends Rachel @jenniferaniston and Monica @courtneycoxofficial!"
Maxene's unboxing video showed the actress opening packages from Jennifer's haircare line, Lolavie and Courtney's homecare brand, Homecourt.
The actress added, "God truly blesses the grateful. I am just overflowing with gratitude and joy. Thank you, Universe!"
Maxene has been a longtime fan of the 90s sitcom which aired from 1994 to 2004 and starred Jennifer as Rachel Green, Courtney as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing, and David Schwimmer as Ross Geller.
In May 2021, FRIENDS had a reunion special, and Maxene, along with other local celebs who are fans of the show made sure to watch it.
Following the airing of the special, Maxene said that the show has helped with her mental health. She said that the show helped soothe her anxiety and cure her depression and added, "The comfort that they brought me was real. Even up to this day, I still rewatch all the episodes and laugh just as much as I did the first time. This may sound absurd but it's true–FRIENDS really helped so many people from all over the world battle their mental health issues. And I am proud to say that I am one of them."
