Addressing these comments, Meg posted a Facebook Reel to clarify that she has never had any facial enhancements. Instead, she pointed to a straightforward explanation for her transformation: weight loss.
"For the first time, ito, nasa 48 kilo ako. Ito yung pinakamababa [weight] ko. So humaba yung face ko," Meg explained, demonstrating her facial changes to her followers.
"Kasi before, pag tumataba ako, sobrang bumibilog yung face ko. So parang umuurong tingnan yung chin ko... Mukha siyang mababa. It all makes sense," she elaborated.
Addressing another point of speculation—her nose—Meg clarified that it's more defined, slimmed, and toned in appearance due to weight loss.
Mind you, this isn’t the first time Meg received such comments. In 2022, some TikTok netizens alleged that she had undergone rhinoplasty.
Meg delivered a clapback by posting a video where she flinched, pressed, and slapped her nose, proving there was no enhancement.

In a "Salamat Dok" segment on ABS-CBN News, Meg revealed more about her approach to fitness, especially when preparing for a role.
"I make sure na everyday nasa gym ako. Workout routine ko, I always do cardio. Winoworkout ko rin yung upper body ko to look more thin on stage. Then to follow na yung ibang parts ng body," Meg shared.
"I do a lot of pushups, squats kasi ayun yung madaming nagagalaw na muscle," she added.
Meg’s dedication to fitness goes beyond managing her hectic schedule and work-related stress. She disclosed that even at 2 a.m., she pushes herself to work out and maintain her active routine.
"Mahirap mag-start. But then pag nasanay ka na, tuloy-tuloy na. So dapat hindi nila itigil," she concluded.
