Never thought I’d read that at one point, Prince Harry jokingly wanted “electric shock therapy” to get Meghan Markle's sex scenes from Suits out of his head, but here we are! The royal got into all the deets on this anecdote in his memoir, Spare, which leaked yesterday thanks to it accidentally going on sale early in Spain (oops).
In the book, Prince Harry reportedly recalled googling Meghan when they first started seeing each other, and he subsequently spiraled over fell into the habit of watching her Suits sex scenes.
“I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room,” the Duke of Sussex wrote (per Us Weekly), before playfully adding that he “didn’t need to see such things.” In case ya didn’t know, Meghan starred on Suits from 2011 to 2018, and over the course of the series, her character falls in love with Mike Ross (played by her costar Patrick J. Adams).
Haz *also* revealed in the book that—plot twist!—his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton were actually huge fans of Suits. “Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said, ‘F*ck off?’” Harry dished in the novel (per Page Six), later adding, “They were regular—nay, religious—viewers of Suits.” The more you know!
Harry said, “All this time I’d thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family.…But now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph.”
The revelation is one of many chronicled in Spare, in which Harry detailed everything from losing his virginity in a field behind a pub to getting into an alleged physical fight with William over Meghan, and drama between Kate and Meghan over...lipstick?! Lots to unpack here.
