We're loving how Miss Bahrain Manar "Jess" Dayani handled negative social media comments with grace and class after she received negative comments from Filipino pageant fans.

On Instagram, the first-ever Miss Bahrain shared a photo where she posed with other Miss Universe contestants followed by screenshots of a lot of negative comments she received.

Some of the comments that caught Manar's attention were "Miss Bahrain, kaya pa today?" "Parang ang daming nilabhan ni Bahrain." "Yung Bahrain parang pinilit sumali. Masama ata loob."

Manar wrote, "I see so many bullies from these pictures. I am here to have a representation for all women regardless of shape, size, religion, or color."

"For the people who spread hate on social media—I have nothing but love for all of you," she wrote. "I hope that you find peace in your heart like me and my co-sisters unite to break the world’s stereotypes of beauty."

She continued, "On a positive note—I wanna thank everyone who said inspirational things and for the kind messages! Love you, Kabayans!"

Manar also explained why she looked the way she did in the photo: "P.S. I'm not ready when this photo was taken."

Manar received a lot of encouraging words following her Instagram post. One of the responses she received was from the Filipino founder and CEO of Yugen Events (who organized the Miss Universe UAE competition) Josh Yugen who wrote, "You are a STRONG woman and we are all proud of you."
