Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis might not have won the crown but she's winning the hearts of Filipino fans with her body positivity advocacy.
ICYDK, Anchilee is considered *plus-size* in Thailand and she's actively been trying to redefine beauty standards by elevating her #RealSizeBeauty advocacy to the Miss Universe stage.
"I am so proud to be representing #RealSizeBeauty. I will not apologize for my body, what I stand for, and who I am," Anchilee posted on Instagram.
She failed to advance to the top 16 semifinals during the coronation night Monday, December 13.
Following the announcement, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach expressed her disappointment with a tweet, saying, "I'm bummed that Miss Thailand didn't make it. She was one of my favorites and I love what she stands up for. I am sure she will be a star after this. I will continue to follow her journey because I'm sure this isn't the last we will see of her!"
Anchilee responded to the tweet and called Pia an "amazing role model."
"Thank you for your kind words. Thank you for continuously being such an amazing role model. I appreciate this so much, from the bottom of my heart."
Filipino fans soon took notice of her advocacy and expressed their support on Twitter.
Philippine bet Beatrice Luigi Gomez made it to the top five while Harnaaz Sandhu of India was crowned Miss Universe 2021.
