During last night's Miss World Philippines coronation night, Tracy Perez from Cebu went viral not just because she was crowned the winner, but also because she fell onstage twice. According to pageant fans, the program lasted for around six hours and ended way past midnight, which could explain why Tracy was tired and lost her balance.

Twitter reacts to the Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night

Fans took to Twitter to express their concern for Tracy and the other candidates, and some even called out Miss World PH for the "unnecessarily long program." One user tweeted: "This is not a JOKE. Our #MissWorldPhilippines2021 Tracy fell twice—first, prior [to] the announcement; second, while taking her walk after being [crowned. PAGOD siya/sila. I hope the organization [thinks] of the welfare of the ladies than having 'World-Class' production."

Another claimed that this was probably the longest coronation night she's ever seen. "I have never seen a pageant run this long ever. And I have been watching pageants since I was like…seven. Nakakaloka yung haba. Some of the air time was a lot of self-importance done by the committee  when we should be focusing on the women." Another tweet reads: "The organization is at fault here. Hindi ba pwedeng three to four hours max lang ang buong pageant? Nalulungkot ako para sa mga kandidata. I hope walang injury si Tracy."
