The mother of Diego Loyzaga's baby has come out in public for the very first time—unfortunately, it wasn't a cheerful introduction.
In an explosive series of Instagram stories, Diego's non-showbiz partner, Alexis Suapengco, allegedly accused him of "kicking her out" including their daughter for another woman. "SO MY BABY DADDY @diegoloyzaga decided to kick me out and his baby out of his house so this girl can come over," Alexis posted.
In succeeding now-deleted IG stories, Alexis even described Diego as a liar and someone who was "never sober."
In another deleted IG story, Alexis claimed that Diego had threatened her that he would refuse to provide for their child if she didn't take down her earlier posts. "@diegoloyzaga said if I don't take down the post, he won't provide for my daughter daw. ok boy bye," she wrote.
At the same time, Diego posted what seemed to be a cryptic post about their situation. He shared an IG story that said, "trouble in paradise," and he even added a tired emoji in it.
It was in June 2023 when Diego opened up about becoming a father to a beautiful daughter. At the time, he did not reveal any details about the mother of his daughter, except that she is a non-showbiz personality.
According to Diego, it was a mutual decision between them to stay low-key about their relationship. "She chose talaga to be private. We just want to have a quiet and peaceful life," he explained in a September 2023 interview.
But in January 2023, Alexis boldly revealed her identity. Based on her Instagram profile, she is a 30-year-old yoga instructor. On December 29, 2023, she celebrated her birthday with Diego and his sisters, Angelina, Cheska, and Sam Cruz.
In a couple of interviews in 2023, Diego expressed his disapproval of marriage. For him, marriage is just a piece of paper. He explained that what matters most to him is the healthy relationship between two individuals raising a family.
"It's a just [a piece] of paper, tapos pag 'di kayo nagkasundo, mag-away kayo ng konti, may annulment pa, di ba? [...] I feel kasi, if you're with this person, your partner, and you have good understanding naman both of you, what is marriage for pa ba?" Diego declared.
