More than two years have passed but we're still not over Crazy Rich Asians. If you loved Crazy Rich Asians for the fashion, check out Emily In Paris next! The show centers on Emily, a twentysomething girl from the Midwest, who turns her life around when she unexpectedly lands her dream job for a marketing firm in Paris. She faces her new reality in the City of Love head-on as she learns to juggle work, friendship, and a blossoming romance.
3. Always Be My Maybe
Starring: Ali Wong, Randall Park, James Saito, Keanu Reeves
Yet another all-Asian led rom-com film, Always By My Maybe sees Ali Wong and Randall Park as two best friends who reconnect for the first time in 15 years. Will they finally act on the feelings they've always had for each other? In case you didn't know, Randall starred opposite Constance Wu in the wildly popular American sitcom Fresh Off The Boat, which concluded its six-season run in February 2020.
4. Ocean's 8
Starring: Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Awkwafina
Packed with a star-studded cast of strong and empowering females—including the ever-hilarious Awkwafina who portrayed Goh Peik Lin in CRA—Ocean's 8 follows Debbie Ocean, a convict fresh out of prison. Her first order of business as a free woman? To steal a knockout diamond necklace worth $150 million dollars from the Met Gala. A known resourceful mastermind, she rounds up seven skilled women to complete the grand heist.
5. The Feels
Starring: Constance Wu, Angela Trimbur, Josh Fadem
For anyone who misses Constance Wu, check out her improvised rom-com film, The Feels, on Netflix. Here, she plays Andi, one-half of a lesbian couple celebrating their nuptials through a bachelorette weekend with their group of friends. Playing her fiance is Angela Trimbur as Lu who, while intoxicated, accidentally derails their fun getaway by admitting that she's never had an orgasm before, shocking both Andi and their companions.
6. Seoul Searching
Starring: Justin Chon, Jessika Van, Cha In Pyo
Set in 1986, this South Korean-Chinese comedy-drama follows a group of foreign-born Korean teens who fly out to Seoul in order to learn more about their culture and heritage at a summer camp.
7. The Half Of It
Starring: Leah Lewis, Daniel Diemer, Alexxis Lemire
In this Cyrano de Bergerac-inspired coming-of-age dramedy, shy straight-A student Ellie agrees to write love letters for sweet, well-meaning jock, Paul, addressed to his crush Aster Flores. Complications arise and threaten their growing friendship when they realize they're both in love with the same girl.
8. When We First Met
Starring: Adam DeVine, Alexandra Daddario, Robbie Amell
After being friend-zoned by the girl of his dreams, Noah stumbles upon a time machine inside a photo booth that allows him to relive the same night over and over again. He plans on taking advantage of this odd discovery until he finally wins over Avery's heart.
9. Love Wedding Repeat
Starring: Olivia Munn, Sam Claflin, Eleanor Tomlinson
A mountain of trouble ensues as Jack goes through different versions of the same day to make sure his little sister gets the perfect wedding. Included in the revolving door of obstacles he has to face are an angry ex-girlfriend, an uninvited guest with a secret, a misplaced sleep sedative, and an unexpected reunion with the girl of his dreams.
