What's more exciting about it though is that it's headlined by none other than Jaehyun of K-pop boy group NCT in his first starring drama role! In Dear.M, Jaehyun will be playing Cha Min Ho, a cheeky and playful computer science major of Seoyeon University who develops ~feelings~ for his best friend of 12 years Ma Joo Ah, played by Park Hye Soo. So, what's the plot of Dear.M?
Dear.M is actually a spin-off of the hit web drama Love Playlist which aired from 2017 to 2019! According to Viu, "Dear.M will tell the story of the campus-wide search for the mysterious 'M,' an individual who is mentioned in an anonymous post on a Seoyeon University online community. The realistic romance drama will follow the changing relationships of budding romances between various characters in the wake of all the buzz about 'M.'"
