Where is Angel Locsin and how is she doing? That's the question on a lot of netizens' minds after noticing that the actress hasn't posted anything on her social media accounts for a while, now.
One look at her IG page and we can see that her last upload was on August 13, 2022, marking almost three months of absence from social media.
Fans, naturally, couldn't help but speculate as to why Angel has been quiet lately. Is she trying to lose weight and gearing up to surprise her fans? Is she transferring back to GMA Network? Is she pregnant? Did she and her husband, Neil Arce, go their separate ways? Netizens also pointed out that amid the aftermath of Typhoon Paeng, Angel did not have any outreach activities or donation drives for those affected.
In a YouTube video uploaded on November 5, Saturday, Ogie Diaz addressed these rumors and claimed a source of his had confirmed that Angel was merely taking a break from social media. She and Neil are okay and have no problems with their marriage. She's also taking care of her father, who's living with them.
"Pinili muna ni Angel na talagang um-absent sa social media," Ogie explained. "Gusto nga ni Angel Locsin ay habaan pa."
"Hindi sila hiwalay ni Neil," Ogie also clarified, as netizens also noticed Angel couldn't be seen in Neil's more recent social media posts. "They are very much together."
"Baka rin inawat ni Angel itong si Neil na, 'Wag mo muna akong isasama diyan sa mga posts mo habang nagpapahinga.'"
