Olivia Rodrigo is finally here in the Philippines and some very lucky fans spotted her roaming around! ICYDK, the Filipina-American singer will be performing on October 5, 2024, at the Philippine Arena for her GUTS World Tour—which, by the way, costs just P1,500 in any tier! Olivia arrived in Manila evening of October 3, together with her boyfriend Louis Partridge and her Filipino father Chris Rodrigo.
Fun fact: As soon as she landed, she *secured* a halo-halo meal and happily shared it on her Instagram, LOL!
In a video uploaded on TikTok, as Olivia was walking with her team exiting the airport, someone greeted her and the singer-songwriter cutely responded with, "Hi, kamusta?" She's so adorable and sweet!
After landing (and before her one-night-only, sold-out concert this weekend) Olivia and her team appear to have strolled around Manila today. The 21-year-old Grammy award winner was spotted casually having a fun day in Intramuros, Manila—so casual that everyone who saw her could easily identify her. She had no visible bodyguards around her and was just really enjoying her free time before her concert.

The ticketing war for Olivia's concert was...intense, to say the least. Even with the Philippine Arena's 55,000 seating capacity, many fans still didn't get the chance to secure a ticket to her first-ever concert in the Philippines. But, fortunately for some fans, the stars just aligned for them, and they saw Olivia in the flesh *before* her concert.
Despite not getting a ticket to the concert, one fan posted a video of her meeting Olivia at a store. The fan posted on TikTok saying, "While i really wanted to hear your music live, meeting you was a dream come true @OliviaRodrigo. Have a great concert in MNL. Mahal ka namin!" Olivia, like the cool artist that she is, posed with the fan who sweetly asked for a photo.

Another fan also uploaded their candid reaction to seeing Olivia in Intramuros. They asked for a photo (which was actually a video) and happily thanked Olivia. Olivia said, "Sure!" in high spirits. Oh, we love her.
This 2024, Olivia has been touring around for her GUTS World Tour. Her visit to the Philippines this October is indeed special because 1) it's her first-ever concert in the country and 2) the proceeds of her show will be donated to charity! It will be allotted for Fund 4 Good, which is Olivia's "global initiative committed to building an equitable and just future for all women, girls, and people seeking reproductive health freedom." Way to go, Liv! :)
